Last Monday, it was just a regular day to me... This Monday is a BUSY BUSY BUSY day!! Getting used to new routines can be fun, but tiring at the same time....

I wish I could close my eyes and forward the time 1 month so I can know everybody by their names in my job and know exactly what I need to do, and so I can already trust Mia and Mimi's teachers, and simply be used to our new life. Of course, I cant do it, so I need to be patient...

When 2 adults and 3 kids needs to take showers, get changed, get backpacks and lunchboxes (with snacks plus lunch), and go to three different places, things can get a bit crazy. Thank God we survived and we all got to our destinations. Today was a day to get to know mostly everything (as I was half blind on Friday), so I got tons and tons of information. So far, Im loving my job and the people in it!

Mimi is such an easy going baby that she is just staying happily... She will just smile, and kick of happiness. She is the littest of the school and everybody just loves her. There are a few things that Im not too happy about, but the good things are so many that I just cant complaint.

We knew this day was going to come, but we just didnt know it was going to be so fast... There are so many things that we want to do that we havent done, and so many things that we want to talk, and just SHARE....

Cara left today... It was sad, but thanks God it was fast. We got there a bit late because we first stopped by a mall so Cara could buy something from the country, and the line was looooooooong... By the time she was going to finish the line, there wasnt going to be time for us to hang out, and we had a birthday party to go to, so we just said good bye from the lines....

I was really sad, but when we got to the car, we had to forget about it right away... We placed the girls in their seats, and when hubby started moving the car, we noticed that we had a FLAT TIRE!!!!!!! That is not the worst thing... We didnt had a spare tire, and we had NO CASH with us...... Hubby forgot his wallet at home, so we had no cards, no cash, no nothing!!! We were in the middle of nowhere, and we just didnt know what we were going to do....

I wont tire you guys with the whole story, but after 3 hours of staying under the sun (not any sun, but NOON SUN), we got to leave the airport.... A guy from Avis gave us for FREE two tires that were in good condition, but the guy felt so sorry for us that he just did it. He did everything in hand to fix our tire, but it wasnt possible... He didnt had to give us a tire (much less a spare one), but there is a God there, and there is still good people around...

We kept his phone number and we will be calling him to fix some problems that our car has, and we will make it up to him!

We got to the party alive, but it was almost over... We didnt took pictures, bc with all the hassle, we forgot.... The girls had fun, and we went back home in time to get ready for our new routine: 2 jobs and 3 girls in school!!

Even though today was pretty busy about Mia's party, the main event of the day was hubby's birthday. He turned 29 years old today. He has changed so much since we met, but he is still the same sweet, fun, loving, family oriented, hard working guy that I felt in love with 11 years ago. Im really proud to be his wife, and that I hope to be by his side while he turns many and many more years.
After the party was done, and with the same mess intact in the house, we went for dinner in honor to his birthday... The best place to go with the girls was Pizza Hut, so there we went. We sat close to the playground, but there were some rude kids, so we moved to the other side of the restaurant where they have a TV with cartoons, and luckily the girls forgot about the playground. My mom was with us, as she was actually the one inviting the dinner.
I was doing a translation job with my mom and Cara, and everything went great.... The Pizza Hut team even sang Happy Birthday to him (sadly I forgot to record it, even though Cara got the end of it when they were just singing their "song to close the show")...
Here are some pictures.... Cara and Mimi having fun:

The more I think about it, the happier I am. Mia's party was a total success!!! A really big part of it was Cara's invaluable help!! The party wouldnt have been possible without her!! We were suppose to order some snacks or order a pizza (we werent sure), but the night before Cara offered herself to cook... She actually loves baking, and she had tons of ideas (easy for her, unknown to me).

We had a water problem with some broken pipes in the neighborhood, and we got dirty water!! So, we actually had to clean the whole water cistern and get new clean water from a "water truck". Most people didnt RSVP and a lot of people said they were not coming.... At the end, we got the exact same kids that we were expecting!!

The menu was:
- Fairy Bread (a yummy hit in Australia for kid's parties)
- Cheerio Slices (made with sugar, cheerios and MnM's)
- Mini Pizzas (made with Pita bread, jam, cheese, tomato sauce and pineapple)
- Mini Hot-Dogs
- Meatballs
- Jello (I made several flavors)
- Several sweets all over the house (like Oreos, Gummy Bears, Fruity snacks, MnM's, etc)
- And of course, the cupcakes which were "Oreo Surprise Cupcakes" as Mia is a chocolate lover.
Everybody was really pleased (kids and adults), and the food was very complimented!

As the purpose of the party was to make Mia to ENJOY and have FUN, the party had everything that she loves: flip flops (as she doesnt like shoes), water, lots of food, painting and kids! We got 369 pictures, including the photographer's pictures, and even though I tried to select just a few, but there is still an overload!! ENJOY!

I was having the worst time with my eyes, and I went to the nurse office to ask her about some drops... She gave me some drops and I was kinda better, so I was relief.... Around 15 minutes later I was having the same problems to see... It was itching, painful, teary, and it was difficult to focus (especially to read or to use the computer)...

So, in my first day of work, I had to leave EARLY!!! I was embarrased, but there was nothing I could do about it!! I called my mom, and she offered to take me to her eye doctor. I can describe what I was feeling in my way over there... The sun was killing me, and even with the eyes closed I was having a hard time!!

When I got there (with my mom's help), the doctor checked me right away... After lots of tests and questions, we came to the conclusion that I rubbed my eyes with my hands dirty of sunblock and my eyes got BURNED!!! He literally told me that is a miracle that Im not blind!! He was also happy that my eyes pressure were fine too.

He prescribed me drops for hourly use, and when I told him that I had a party in my house tomorrow, he only said: "No, you wont... You will move that party for Sunday!!!"....

So, of course I was not going to move the party, but at least I went home, and rested my eyes... Cara and hubby left with the girls to do some errands for the party, and I got to sleep and to put my eyes every hour.

BTW, a FYI...... The eye doctor was really worried about what drops I used last night, and he asked me to never ever use drops without a doctor's Ok... So, please, dont do that!! Just last week a guy got blind for using on his eyes some drops that were prescribed to his baby daughter. The drops that were doing great for his daughter, actually made his eyes pressure to go up and he ended up BLIND!!

- First time that I go to work outside of my house after I was pregnant with Camila (over 2 years ago)
- First time that Mia goes to school
- First time that Mimi goes to daycare
- First time that we need to pack 3 bags and 3 lunchboxes to get ready
- First time that we wake up the girls and interrupt their dream for them to get ready for something (we have done that for Gaby before, but not for Mia or Mimi)

So many firsts and so little pictures.... As I still dont have my drivers license and Im a lame driver, I grabbed a cab with Mia, while hubby dropped Mimi is her daycare along with Gaby (as the principal dont have any problem if I take Gaby or Mia for one day, I took Gaby so she could take an eye on Mimi as the big sister she is)....

As we just have one camera right now, just one of the girls have pictures, and that is Mia... Here are two pictures (one in the cab and the other one when she got in her classroom)... She still doesnt have her uniform, but I dressed her with one of the colors of her uniform (the use kakhi pants, and red, blue or white shirt).

My day started off difficult, as for some reason I wasnt able to SEE!! Some eye drops help me a bit but I was having a hard time.... I was positive it was the chlorine from the pool, but I wasnt sure.....

There was so many things to do for our big day tomorrow, plus showing the city to Cara, AND a bunch of last minutes things for Mia's party on Saturday.

In the morning we went to pick up Cara's ticket to Cubana Air (as she is going to Cuba for a week), and we also went to meet the preschool for Mia. We had lunch at KFC, and then we went shopping for some things for the party...
Photobucket
Cara insisted on squeezing with the girls on the back instead of me (notice that Mimi is on the right of the picture but rear facing)....
Photobucket
We still needed to buy a pool and a few more things and while we were at the store Camila poop all the way until her shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hubby took over and took her to the bathroom for a "sink shower" while I went to the second floor for CLOTH (yes, I know, I should have taken a change of cloth)..... While I went to the cloth store with Gaby, and hubby stood in the bathroom with Mia, Cara got the snugli on and went around with Mimi... Cara was having so much fun, as this is the first time that she actually has a snugli on...

We got the pool and went back home to get ready for the big day tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

As some of you may remember, I asked for you guys to pray for a thing that was going to change our lives.. That "thing" never happened but it looks that God's plans were different!!

I love my girls more than anything in the world, but I reached the point (a few months ago) when I realized that I need more adult interaction.... I need to keep my mind busy with something that doesnt involve a conversation about diapers, baby food, drooling, birthdays..... I also think that Camila NEEDS interaction with other kids, and needs independence from me.

Im really happy with my business and it is one of the most rewarding things that Im doing in my life, and I hope to continue to do it for a long long long time, BUT I got a call and interview from a school, and I will be working with them starting on Friday. It will only be a few hours, and I will be taking Mia with me... I cant take Mimi because they dont accept non-walking babies, so we decided to register Mimi in a little preschool that is really close to our house.

3 Little Flowers will continue in business, and will continue to be my goal to make it GROW!!! I know I will be busier keeping it with my personal business, my job, 3 girls, 3 different schools, a 2 floor house and a husband, but Im young, and I can handle it.... I feel REALLY happy, especially because Mia will be able to have that interaction with other kids that she really needs, plus , I will have some adult interaction as well, even though I will be on the computer all the time.

We got a day pass from Barcelo Talanquera Beach Resort, and we REALLY had a great time!!! We first went to the beach, which was Mimi's first time, and she loved the sand and the water.... Then we ate, and then we went to the pool. While on the pool we were taking turns to play volley, while one of the adults was taking care of the girls.... It was really a great day!!!

Pictures will tell:

At night, and after the girls went off to bed, we stayed up and played some Monopoly!! Cara beat us up as she managed to buy the two most expensive properties and put a bunch of houses!! We ate tons of junk food (nachos and dipping), but at least we were having water instead of something else!!

We buy most of the things online, so I have wishlists to have in one place everything that we are planning (or at least hoping) to buy.
