Having my almonds handy really made me smile. At work, I spent 4 and a half hours on my chair, and they help me not to starve myself... Super silly, but it did made me smile...

When I was as young as Mia (8), I used to love to read so much that I used to read all night long with a flashlight under the covers (thing that later in life I learned my mom knew about it). By the time I was 9, my eyes started paying the toll and eyeglasses were prescribed. Whoever knows me, knows how much I have always avoided using eyeglasses, but oh God, I really need them. In the past couple of days, I have been wearing them all day long and I LOVE how good I can SEE! Embracing my eyeglasses made me smile!

Getting these kind of emails is like a sweet reminder of why I love designing so much! I have been doing designs for this customer for 4 years for all her 3 kiddos and knowing how much she appreciates what I do, makes me happy...

People don't even need to know me very well to know that I don't post negative things online. However, we are humans and there is no shame on having bad days. Yesterday was one of the hardest days I have had to deal with since many many years ago, and keeping my head up and a smile on my face proved to be a big challenge by the end of the day. I wasn't in the mood for ice cream but the fact that my special someone tried to cheer me up with one, did bring a smile to my face.

Not many people have tasted my mashed potato, but I'm proud to say that I haven't taste one that is yummier. To mash the potato I use skim milk, Flora margarine, melted mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper... Then Mozzarella on top of it. I made a bit and took it to work and it made me smile...

My biggest smile of the day doesn't have a picture but it was enough to keep me smiling for several weeks... Sooo, a selifie with a quote doesn't hurt anybody because "I believed I could, so I did"...

Gaby was in her current school for a couple of months when she was 3 years old. I knew I had pictures, and I was looking for one specific picture. It was the picture with Gaby with one of her friends back then. I took a new picture of them last month, and I knew I needed to do a "then and now"...

I know I always say the same thing, but it really feels like it was just the other day, but it has been already 11 years since I became a mom.

Believe it or not, Gaby was the first baby I ever held in my life, and it was like having my very own "live doll".

She was the one that teach me how to feed a baby, change a diaper, how to comfort a crying a baby, how to take care of a little person who is little by little becoming a little lady...

She teach me how to love unconditionally and how to be a mom. There are sooo many things that I need to thank her for. After all, she was the one that had to endure my mistakes in order for me to do it better with her sisters.

Gaby, I love you to the moon and back! Happy 11th Birthday!!

Her party will be next month, and we are all looking forward to it. Here is a mini collage I made for her because of her birthday...

I have seen all 10 seasons of Friends at least 4 times (yes, I love it), and sometimes when I'm designing I put it on the background just to hear something... I was designing and this episode was playing.. I laughed soooo hard at it. Whoever has seen it would understand why...

We buy most of the things online, so I have wishlists to have in one place everything that we are planning (or at least hoping) to buy.
