Sun and sand!

Since a few weeks ago, I started a Facebook Event inviting my high school friends for a day at the beach. Off we went this morning and how fun it was!!! I still have my new round of tonsilitis, so I couldnt get in the water, but that didnt keep me from having a great time.. My brother Manuel (aKa Tite) went with us and the girls were very happy!!

My mom spent the weekend at one of my aunt's beach house and she bring along a gift for the girls:

Beach… here we come

It was SOO HOT today that we decided at the very last minute to go to the beach!! We normally leave at around 8 or 9 in the morning everytime we go, but today we actually got to the beach at the time we are normally heading back (2-3 in the afternoon)....

My mother in law was craving really bad for a fried fish, and she had it:

I was under the umbrella all the time, because even though the chicken pox only lasted one day, I still had a thing in my face that I didnt want to expose to the sun... I still had a great time watching them and taking photos!!!

The beach trip that never happened

Today we decided to head to the beach... We all got out bathing suits on, and to the beach we went.... We stopped for gas a couple of kilometers before reaching the toll and just as we were back in the road, we got a flat tire...



The spare tire was in use, so we had no tire to put on.... I call one of my brothers and he came to the rescue... There was a problem with the screws, and it took them over 2 hours to solve it with several trips back and forth in this car....



After that, we went to my dad's house with an inflatable pool and the girls had a blast...

Another Beach Day....

While we were together with our friends last night, we decided to go to the beach. It was very nice to be able to go to the beach with other people and we knew we were going to have tons of fun....

Mia had an alergic reaction on Wednesday, and still has a rash on her neck and arms... So, we decided to leave her at my mom's house because I didnt want the sun to make any damage of her skin... It was very sad to leave her, and we were thinking about her all day long, but we know we made the right decision.

We went with the two friends from yesterday's photos: Briza and Massiel, and also with Briza's boyfriend. Mia is the one that loves spending time at the sand... As she stayed at my mom's house, there was nobody that was actually pushing to play in the sand... This lead that Gaby and Mimi spent TOO much time in the water and under the sun and they are both RED.

We saw this dark skin little girl and I wanted a photo of Gaby with her... I think this is the darkest little girl that I have seen in my life, and I found her SOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! I love this photo:

We all had a blast and we really hope to do it again... Of course, next time: With Mia!!!!

... and to the beach we went!

It was an awesome day and we had a lot of fun... All the girls (including Mimi) were really excited about going to the beach!! I wanted to leave early as my oldest brother was coming to town today with my nephew Ariel Enrique, so I wanted to come back early. As much as much as I didnt want to leave early, we didnt set up an alarm as I honestly start the day happier if I wake up on my own -even if is early. Anyway, Gaby walked in our room at 7 with her eyes half closed saying: "It's time to go to the beach". I bet she was dreaming all night long about sand and salty water!!

We got ourselves ready and out of the door in less than a hour, and after getting a few things in the store we headed to the beach. The girls sing a song about going to the beach all trip long (version original of the song is about an ugly car that goes on a trip... The girls were singing about "Going to the beach" instead of " Going to a trip"....Original lyric is here).

I spent a lot of time in the sand with Camila as she was not in the mood for the water (same thing as the last time we went), so I got almost 200 photos (if I cant get in the water, I needed to keep myself busy with something, right?).

I realized TOO late that there was no photos of me... After the beach, we went to visit my friend Luz who was in the country for a week, so I promise to post photos later on of my "red" face when she sent me the ones that she took.
