Local Spring Break

I scheduled my work's vacation for this week as the girls were going to be off school for the whole week.  We got to do so many stuff and we simply had a blast.  I got around 500 pictures but I will just post a few for the memory lane.


Mia had a photoshoot for a "job" that he was hired for (that's another post) and here are some pictures from that day:


The girls also got to play Wii with my TV downstairs and I played a lot with them.  Our favorite Wii game is the Mario game called New Super Mario Bros just because we can actually play simultaneously and even though they fight when "the other one kills them", I'm convinced that it helps them to play as a team.  They ask each other for tasks to accomplish things and they sound so grown up.  They also got a playdate with the daughter of one of my cousins (remember her?) and they had a blast.


We also spent several days at a local club and they just couldn't get enough water and sun.  Different friends were with me each day and it was super fun.

The beach trip that never happened

Today we decided to head to the beach... We all got out bathing suits on, and to the beach we went.... We stopped for gas a couple of kilometers before reaching the toll and just as we were back in the road, we got a flat tire...



The spare tire was in use, so we had no tire to put on.... I call one of my brothers and he came to the rescue... There was a problem with the screws, and it took them over 2 hours to solve it with several trips back and forth in this car....



After that, we went to my dad's house with an inflatable pool and the girls had a blast...

Pool time

Our pool was "out of service" for the past couple of weeks because the girls (especially Gaby) had a cold, and I wasnt looking forward them getting worse. Gaby is still a bit sick, but it was so hot that we just let them.... Mia was not suppose to get her head wet for a day, but we have been scared of getting her wet and she had her head dirty ever since the stitches.

As always they had a blast, and Mimi was splashing the water like there was no tomorrow!

Weekend fun!

The weekend was really fun!!! The girls got to be in the pool and play a lot in the backyard.... My mom stopped by today, and the girls love spending time with grandma.

Pool Time!

We promised Gaby that we were going to let her use the pool as a reward for her good behavior from yesterday at school. I put some diapers in the washer machine and hubby was supposed to hang them in the sun. So, while the machine was washing he set up the girls outside. Gaby came upstairs to ask for the bathing suits, so I put her one, and sent the other one downstairs WITH the camera, of course. I was going to miss it, but I wanted to see pictures AND videos!! All I could hear was their laughs and I could tell that they had a great time. Mimi didn’t got in, but she was looking from her stroller, and having fun too!!
