... and OF COURSE, I'm talking about Gigi.

A few weeks ago, Gigi spent a couple of weeks at a friend's house. She has a chihuahua just like Gigi and we didn't know she was in heat.

She had show NO sign whatsoever of being in heat but apparently she was, because they were all over each other.  By the time we realized about it, it was already too late.

Of course, I wasn't sure if she was pregnant or not, but today her belly is so big and her nipples are so swollen that I honestly think I'm about to become a grandma.

Doing the calculations, she may be due for sometime in 2 or 3 more weeks. Not only I wasn't ready for this, I also know nothing about dogs pregnancies and deliveries... but I have no other option than dealing with this the best I can..

At the school where I graduated, they do a big thing for our local's independence day. They do a big event that normally makes the newspaper where they invite some local celebrities and lots of other schools.

It's a big marching towards the national flag and one of the biggest things of the event is that former students would attend and also march.  I remember when I was a kid that it was so cool especially because there were a group of former students with a marching band.

My class was turning 15 years of having graduated and we wanted the school to feel our presence. It was a hard task because it was first thing in the morning, and not everybody was able to work it out around their jobs but around 15 of us attended.

It was nice to be back at school and it was funny how I was still on the first row while marching (just like in high school)... It's fun to be petite!

Not many words are needed to describe my experience from today.  I have always been looking forward to do something like this and it was simply AWESOME!! It was really an adrenaline rush all over! Looking forward to do it again (by the way, my team won!)

I turned 33 last Monday and keeping up with my promise of celebrating my birthday every year, I did a small get together at a friend's restaurant.  Lots of people that I love was there, but I was so busy with everything that I hardly took pictures.

As I finally went to the eye doctor a couple of weeks ago to get new eyeglasses, I decided to have the an "eyewear" theme and it was really fun.  I have been procrastinating so much about this, and I thought this was a cute way for me to have a "cheer me up" to actually USE them this time.

I kinda mixed up the theme with Minions because they ALL have eyeglasses! I got cookies made colorful faces with eyeglasses and when I picked them up, they remind me of them.

Not that I really decorated, but I used some cupcake liners that I still had from Gaby's 10th birthday back in October.  Only thing I did was buy some plastic eyeglasses from a party store and they were a hit.

Here I am with just a few of the guests showing off their glasses...

Mimi's baby teeth are not even close to be loose, and yesterday we noticed that a permanent lower middle teeth was coming in behind the baby teeth. As this is a new situation for me, I took her to the dentist for x-rays.

The x-ray showed that she doesn't have enough room for the permanent teeth to come out, and most likely all her teeth would need to be extracted. The doctor said the two bottom needed to be extracted today and that the others would be to be extracted with time.

For any normal child, this would be a reason to be alarmed, but Mimi is not a normal child.  She handled the situation as an adult, as usual. She kept her cool at all times and not one tear came out of her eyes. Her face was the face of somebody that was alert, not the face of somebody that was in pain.

Both teeth were extracted and she felt really proud. We ended up getting ice cream afterwards. Here she is with her double window and also wearing one of the eyeglasses for my party to come.

To honor my big bro's birthday, here is a picture from memory lane.  I think we were 3 and 1, but I'm just guessing.

He's more than a brother to me and more than an uncle for my girls... We love you!

We buy most of the things online, so I have wishlists to have in one place everything that we are planning (or at least hoping) to buy.
