Today was our local's Mother's Day. We were suppose to stay at our house because of Gaby's chicken pox, however, she wasnt contagious anymore... We noticed that the dots were already dried out, so we decided to do something out of the house.We went to a Restaurant and we had a very nice time... There are 10 kids in Gaby's classroom... Out of those ten, there was already EIGHT kids that had Chicken Pox in the last couple of weeks. Only Gaby and another girl were missing. Today, we noticed that Gaby had several dots that looked like Chicken Pox, and then we went to the ER to make sure it was Chicken Pox and IT WAS!!! Booo! ...

Our local mother's day is the last Sunday of May (which is next Sunday) and today was the Mother's Day presentation at school. The first act was Camila's grade as they are the youngest of the school.Camila knew the songs by heart, but as soon as she saw me the crying started and she ended up in my arms instead of the stage... After the show was over, she gave me some gifts that she did for me:After the Toddler and Pre-K class was Gaby's presentation...

Two great Salsa Performers are in town and we decided to go to the concert... They are Gilberto Santa Rosa and Victor Manuelle, who once did a tour together called: Dos soneros, Una historia (Two salsa singers, One history), are bringing now: La historia continua (The History Continues). The fact that my youngest daughter is already TWO YEARS OLD hit me really hard!! I took advantage of her tiny size and refused to accept that she became a toddler once she turned 1 year old. It was very difficult to accept that the baby that once was 4 pounds (see her birth story here), was turning one!Today it is MORE difficult because she is REALLY a toddler now... She talks and acts like a toddler, and there is no way I can hide that anymore......

Today was Gaby's trip to the same place that Camila went the other day. Hubby was also the photogapher but she is already used to having her daddy around during school hours, so she was Ok staying with her teacher and not with him. For some reason the girls never go out of the school on any trip... Camila's grade had their first trip of the year... It was to a Supermarket that has a Pet Shop on the second floor..
