Here is a list and pictures of the most relevant things that happened each month of this year.
January
* Started the year telling my whole family that I was preggo with Mimi. I cried a bunch at the party and I knew I difficult year was ahead of us.
* I found a good OB to treat my case and he was very optimistic. He sent me for a bunch of tests and asked me to go every two weeks for check up.
* As we were still living in Higuey and he was in Santo Domingo, I was traveling back and forth every two weeks.
* We cut Gaby’s hair because she had lices. Here is a picture of her short hair (picture taken on the firefighters trip from school)
* On my birthday we went to a resort just with Gaby and we had a great time. Mia was at my mom’s house.
February
* The OB asked me not to whole Mia anymore. She was heavy and I was feeling a lot of pain while holding her.
* Mia “moved” to my mom’s house.
* We find out we were having a girl, even though they always said they were not sure.
* We took Gaby for a walk in "El Malecon" at it was a great "alone time" with Gaby.
March
* We moved from the apartment were we lived since we moved to this country to a three bedroom apartment.
* My friend Luz put together an online Baby Shower for me, and I got tons of gifts from people that have never seen me face to face but that I consider my family.
* Mia is having lots of milestones this month... Here is a video of her clapping.
April
* I reached the 28 weeks milestone and got my first steroid shot for Mimi's lungs

Mia's birthday party. We didn’t make a big party because I was really tired and exhausted, but she had a great time and she got to be with lots of people that loves her very much.
May
* I reached the 32 weeks milestone!!
* My OB wanted to see me every week, so I packed and “moved” to my mom’s house. Here is a picture of the last pregnancy appointment that I had in my life!
My friend Luz was in the country from Arabia and she was the biggest help of all. She “won” the right of being Mimi’s godmother.
After three days in the Hospital Amelia was born 6 weeks prematurely. She was 4 pounds and 7 ounces.
This month was my first Mother’s Day as a mother of three, even though I couldn’t spend it with all of them together because Mimi was still in the NICU.

The first time together as a family of five will be a moment I will never forget.
June
* Mimi's eyes check ups
* We got our first complete generational picture.... My grandmother, my mom and her daughter (me) and her three granddaughters (my girls), plus my aunt, her 2 daughters and the daughters of her daughters!
* Saying goodbye to Gaby at the airport
* Seeing that plane taking off was one of the most painful moments in my life.

July
* I hosted for a week a preemie Board on BBC because their host was having Internet problems, and I learned so much about preemies. It got me thinking in all those babies that are still having problems, and made me be grateful for how healthy my preemies are.
* Mia won a huggies race
* Holding my girl again after 4 weeks of not seeing her
* Mia got to go to the pool again after a long time
* The frist broken bone in our family in our lives
* We celebrated the Dominican Father's Day with my father, his wife, my brothers, nephew, hubby and the girls
August
* Hubby and I decided to move to Santo Domingo after he accepted a new job offer.
* I met an online friend and her family!
* I became Ariel's godmother
* Gaby's first day of Pre-K
September
* Gaby cracked her head open at Isabella's birthday party
* I started taking my designing work more serious and started getting lots of customers.
* Mia got a haircut
* We went to the National Aquarium for the first time
October
* We got the keys for our new house.
* Gaby turned 4 years old
* Mimi's godmother Luz came to visit from Arabia
* My mother in law came from New Jersey to spend some time with us after a very delicate time.
November
* Hubby got me a ring for our 5th anniversary
* We celebrated Gaby's birthday party in our new house.... My mother in law, sister in law and her husband were here
* We all got pink eye, but I got the worst one
* Gaby sang and danced "Mi Burrito Sabanero" at the School Christmas Play
December
* We had our first pool party at home, and it was Mimi's first time
* Lost some money and gained some more.
* Lost a friend but strengthen a few others friendships.
* Got my domain for my business
* I hosted my first Christmas Eve dinner with some extended family.
* The girls got lots of presents for Christmas Day (more to come)
In overall we had a great year. Full of ups and downs, but this was the year that be completed our family, so it will be in our hearts forever.
