While in this country we havent really celebrate Thanksgiving because is not a tradition in this country, but this year Gaby is aware of the celebration and she wants to celebrate...
Could somebody suggest me what to do??? (what to wear, what to serve, who to invite, what to do?)
Edit to add:
- Hubby's eyes are getting worse, and Im far from being better, so I guess we wont be celebrating this Thursday... We will be doing something next week when we all get better!!
Thank for the suggestions!!

Well We do Thanksgiving but P Rican Style....Pernil, Arroz con Gandules, Salad, if alot of people come we do Turkey too ......lots and lots of Flan!!! Do you need recipes or anything????
I know in Canada Thanksgiving is pretty much like a Christmas meal. People dress "casual/nice" and it's really (usually) a family time. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and most importantly, pumpkin pie! If you are up for decorating, it's a "fall" kind of theme with turkeys, leaves, pumpkins and other gourds, dried corn, etc..

For Turkey day, you have to go turkey crazy. If you want you can dress up or down. But it is a big meal, with turkey. The sides don't matter, but I would say you need to have sweet potatos(yams)boil them to they are soft and add butter, brown sugar, milk and eggs and put them in the oven with marshmallows on top and wait to they turn brown, and they are good, and sweet.
