What in the world is a 5 year old doing on Facebook?? A lot. Gaby has been asking me for an email since a few months ago. She always says that she wants to learn to write to be able to send emails to family and friends. I have been trying to come up with an idea for this and Facebook came to my mind.

Why Facebook? Because there she will see pictures of people and will be able to understand better WHO she is sending a message to, and WHO is sending a message to her. Also, she is learning to write and read, and I think it will help her A LOT to send messages and receive them.
I explained her that she will only be allowed to use the Facebook when we are together, and for now I wont even give her the password. As she doesnt know how to write yet, I will have to tell her what letters to write, but she knows all the letters and is learning where they are in the keyboard..... Im positive this will help her a lot.

Her Facebook is private and her last name is not listed. I sent her 20 people today from her school, some friends and some family, and she cant wait to start receiving messages and answering them.

Sounds like a good idea. cant wait to hear how it all works out. I do not look forward to days of sharing my computer with my daughter, lol! She already wants to watch so much on it.

Heather: You need to invest in a computer for her... This is when it comes handy to be married to a computer tech, and not to a soccer player... LMAO!!! There are more compturers than people in this house just now.. (I bet you have more balls, though).

Meaghan: Thanks!

Cari: Send me an invite to become a fan... Email me so I can tell you the email that I use for Facebook.... Get Trevor on it.. It will be soo cool!

We buy most of the things online, so I have wishlists to have in one place everything that we are planning (or at least hoping) to buy.
