You guys KNOW how I NEVER ever get anything for me. When it comes to my birthday, hubby always manages to surprise me for my birthday with something, but this year I made him promise he wasnt going to get me anything that actually cost money, as we need that any extra cent that comes to this house to be used to help for my lil bro.
One of my customers and friend -Kelly- sent me an Amazon Gift Card. I was REALLY surprised, happy, and excited!! She made me promise I was going to spend it on ME only!!Oh boy, that was hard (hence why I managed to buy something almost a week later!)... I went and check my Amazon's Wishlist, and was set to choose something from there... I wanted to buy something that I knew I needed and was going to use a lot, so I decided to get something that I KNOW I will get TONS of use out of it, and that I have been wanting to get since the longest (and havent): A pair of Crocs!!! I got them in black (I know pretty boring), but even though my girls wear their any color crocs, with any cloth, I really prefer to have them black and use them with anything I want.
My daughters have tons of Crocs and I love them.... They have several original Crocs, but also have Airwalk Clogs, Skechers Clogs, and Children's Place Breeze shoes. They LOVE wearing them too, and even Mimi complains if she doesnt get to wear hers. I have a pair of "wanna be" Crocs that cost me around 3 bucks, and that are very comfty. Sadly, they already needs to be replaced and I cant seem to find those again. All the other non-brand-wanna-be Crocs that I have bumped to are too hard so I decided to get one real Croc for me with the Amazon Gift Card... I also loved the fact that I have Amazon Prime, which means FREE 2nd Day Shipping...
They are already ready to pick up at my mailing company and I cant wait to have them!! (Kelly: Thanks for making my day, I will think of you every time I wear them....)

AH, that is great!!! I don't own a pair of those type of shoes at all... I heard they are comfortable.. but I can't get over the look...LOL! Everyone says, everyone needs a pair... BUT really???? I hope they work great for you! I am sure you deserve something for yourself!

Denai: Where I live it is warm all year long, so I get to wear them all year long.... I like that they are slip on PLUS I dont like sandals with my fingers out... So, they are just perfect for me.... My girls seems to love them, and they complain (even the 20 months old) if they are going out WITHOUT a crocs on. When they have to dress up, I actually have to hide them from my two little ones.....

Ive never gotten into the whole croc thing for me or the kids, but whats important is that you got something for you that you wanted. Im very happy for you!

H: LOL on the "whole croc thing"... They are the most comfty thing on earth, especially for people like me that would like to go everywhere in a flip flop but just cant. LOL ... I give you my word that you would love them....
Yay im so glad you bought it for yourself....i want a pair too !!!! and i want the childrens place ones for Fifi ...they just put a lot of new ones in the store yesterday
