The last hour is making me wonder how safe are we in this house?? We live almost in the outsides of the city, and there is still lots of places that doesnt have any kind of construction... Right next to us there is a lot that looks like a Forrest in a Harry Potter movie.

Hubby went downstairs to close the backyard door and here is the visitor that he found:
Cute, eh?

Hubby took this picture after he shot it with almost a whole can of Raid, and started to get dizzy (not hubby, the spider). Then, he kill it, and put it inside of a box (and then inside a bag).

Wondering what is that?? It's called The Hispaniola Giant Tarantula, and it is a VERY dangerous spider. Hubby called Gaby and Mia and showed the spider to them (through the window, of course), and at least Gaby knows that it is very dangerous and we explained her what to do if she sees a spider like that.

I just hope to be able to go to sleep without thinking about my unpleasant visitor.

LOVELY!

do you want me to share all my poisonous spider pictures from every place we lived? The last one I almost stepped on, so after rushing in the car I drove over it and smashed it. Afterwards I called DH on the way to Louisiana and told him he has to scratch it of the friveway when he comes back.

Yes. I do like animals, but I did not feel sorry for the spider.

GACK! Looks like that guy would just laugh in the face of a can of Raid. Yucky yucky yucky as Max would say.

Bridget: Totally yuck!!!

Nicole: I certainly dont want to hear more stories... YUCKY YUCKY YUCKY.... Im scratching just thinking about it...

Cara: Thank God I did had sweet dreams (well, not so sweet but there are 3 little flowers to blame, not the spider)....

Erica and Heather: Add me to the "I hate spiders list".

Laly: I told Gaby that they were very dangerous and if she ever see one like that again and she is by herself TO RUN inside of the house and close the door....BUT, I also told her that if Mia is with her to bring her inside with her... Sometimes they go to play to the backyard while Im doing chores, but I dont think we will dare to leave them outside again... :(

Kate: ME TOOOOO!!!

Kel: Actually the spider did got dizzy... That's how hubby got to take the pictures.... But, of course, we were not going to trust on that alone.. No, no, no... I dont even trust Raid to kill a cucaracha.

Icky. The other day i had a spider no bigger then a dime on me and I screamed bloody murder. I have passed the fear to my daughter of course. I would be moving if that was in my house.

Oh my word, that picture freaked me out. I could NOT imagine finding something like that in my house!! I laughed when you said the spider was dizzy, not your hubby! haha.

We buy most of the things online, so I have wishlists to have in one place everything that we are planning (or at least hoping) to buy.
